Who is Dishonest and Dishonorable?

Letter to the Editor

John McCain today called the right wing attack ads on Kerry’s war record “dishonest and dishonorable” and urged Bush to condemn it, which Bush would not do. “It was the same kind of deal that was pulled on me,” McCain said.

But I don’t think McCain has any room to call anyone dishonest and dishonorable. When you think about it – McCain is going to be giving a speech at the Republican convention and he’s going to endorse Bush for president, a man who he considers dishonest and dishonorable. It seems to me pretty dishonest and dishonorable to get in front of America and lie to the People and endorse a man you clearly know stands against everything you believe in.

regardless of if he’s being forced to by the party?

I can’t imagine that he can pull out of endorsing Bush at the convention without media coverage rightfully looking into it, which would damage the Republicans and the President. He’d be destroyed by a smear campaign or badly bruised like every other insider who has spoken out.

If McCain thought that Bush was such a bad guy, why did he not run against him in the primary. McCain is just as phony as all of his other “partners in crime” in DC. The biggest joke is that you guys argue like there is actually a difference between any of them.

you know what, i think i may have figure x-freeper out: he’s an anarchist. he just hates everything. everything’s black and white. you think like me or you’re a fool… there is a difference. mccain is a joke, though. to support someone who insulted his vet status is, i don’t know.. hard to fathom. he spent many years in a vc prison. the man DESERVES a lot of respect. but bush respects no one but himself. as for mccain supporting him, try looking for a red dot on mccain…

I dont think McCain is endorsing bush in the manner endorsements are usually given. this is forced, the better of two evils in mccains mind at best. this is pure republican loyalty. is zell miller a phony for crossing the party lines? I say no. in fact I think the moderates are the only realists left, the remaining few that give both extremes the finger and speak their mind. Except for rare happenings like this. Yeah I am dissappointed that mccain sold out on this particular exhibition. But I’m not ready to destroy the guy because of it, I can see how he faltered, adn taht was weak of him. But who the fuck can stand up to bush and his practically nazi regime he’s instituted?
