IS IT TRUE THAT BUSH WAS ON DRUGS AND HAD AN ALCHOHOL PROBLEM, WHILE KERRY WAS IN VIET NAM FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY? IF SO. WHY NOT LET THE PUBLIC HEAR MORE ABOUT BUSH'S LIFE ACTIVITIES? MAYBE THAT IS THE REASON BUSH MILITARY RECORDS MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPEARED.

Charlie says ... "you don't want to be a father, don't get her pregnant in the first place."

BUT THAT SAME ARGUMENT DOES NOT APPLY TO WOMEN. IF SHE DOES WANT TO BE A MOTHER MAYBE SHE SHOULD NOT GET PREGNANT. COME ON!

capital punishment is not wrong. i'd rather have dead criminal that one that gets free cable, health, new books, etc. and men do have a choice. you don't want to be a father, don't get her pregnant in the first place. i can hear it now, bad planning leads to murder. grrrrrrrr....to quote wills.

About the abortion and capital punishment comparison. I have a problem understanding it. Democrats/Liberals think that it is okay to abort a fetus, but capital punishment is wrong. Republicans/conservatives think that abortion is killing, so therefore it is wrong but capital punishment is okay. Murder is murder is murder.

Abortions for fathers? If I get a woman pregnant she has choice to give birth or abort the baby. If she chooses to abort the baby and I am against it there is nothing that I can do. If she chooses to have the baby but I am against it, I cannot abort my responsibility. I think that if a woman can abort a fetus in the first tri-mester, than a man should be able to opt out in the first trimester. If a man gets a woman pregnant, and she tells the man that she wants the baby, why can't a man say I'm out? Or don't men have a choice.

wish i said that too. i'm not that great of a writer. but guess it's no longer cool to fight for rights and freedom. liberal is such an ugly word today. it was also a liberal that has allowed playboy and penthouse to be available. hey wilks, mance, you've aquainted yourself with that literature yet? if you have, you can thank a liberal after you clean up...

well said. also, we have these conservative men who are against abortion, but what about the men who got them pregant? It takes two to tango. Conservative men want things the way they were in the 50s, when women had no opinions. At least, the majority of conservative males that I know think like that. So using conservative logic, if one is like that, then they all must be like that...

i don't feel much about zell miller. i am not a democrat. geraldo rivera is a journalist with his own opinion. which is just that, his own opinion. i'm surprised that you failed to mention that clinton was part of that fleecing. i've read a lot on both candidates. still not sure on kerry. as for bush, i do think he is the worst president in US history. one of the reasons: being a veteran, i find it appalling sending our troops into battle ill prepared and for the wrong reasons. and what of osama? there's no proof he's dead. why assume? and on the other side, there's no prood he's alive. but what i find interesting is that one day bush said osama was number one priority. then one day he says he's not important? that's a flip-flop to me. even though sadam was a bad man, there was no reason to invade iraq, other than oil. there are worst dictators out there. why no invade those countries? korea was a bigger threat then and continues to be than iraq was. no WMDs. oh yeah, there's still hope they'll find them. every reason bush stated to invade iraq has proven exaggerated, aggrandized, or just plain out-right lies. Yet the lives of our youth and the bankrupting of our treasury have still not been explained to the American people. Trust them? I would assume you're a man of facts. Where's the proof that iraw was involved in 9/11? Where's the proof that Saddam had WMDs, other than the ones that were received by the US? Where is the proof that Kerry scratched himself? Where is the proof that Bush can use to defend that he did show up for duty?

Call me what you like. I am conservative, and I am a registered Democrat. The internet boom/NASDAQ phenom was the fleecing of the Amercian public. As is bad government. Eight years ago two guys would sit and argue over Global Crossings and Lucent. Which was better. History proved neither was better, they both sucked. Do you see the pattern there. But for all that was thrown at Bush (coming recession, 9/11, war) I think that he has done a good job. And I am willing to let him see it through.

How do you guys feel about Zell Miller (D-Ga) keynote speaker at the Republican convention. Wolf in sheep's clothing. How about Geraldo, and Jay Marvin, ranting liberals prior to 9/11.

Living in California my whole life (until now), most of my friends and family voted for Arny because, well, he's the terminator. I asked "doesn't it matter that he has no political experience?""No, he's Arnold!" How sad is that? Also, don't blame Clinton. That makes u hypocrite: if we cannot speak ill of Bush, yet Cliton/Kerry bashin is OK? And for the record (my opinion), the fall of Silicon Valley was a major part of why things are the way they are today. Like you said Tom, Bush does not create jobs of dole out health care, Clinton does not creat false hopes in the Computer Industry. Many investor were swindled into thinking that that Internet was the bomb, this and that, thus all the dot-com companies. what happened? The technology needed to do what all those investor and sales folk wanted to do hit the wall. The technology wasn't there yet, neither was the bandwidth. Essentially, the computer industry fell apart. That was one of the reasons whey the economy was succesful during Cliton's administration. But it seem greedy people saw an opportunity and BAM. I think Marc will agree on me on this to some extent. After all, that's how I saw things. But does not make me right or set in stone. My opinion. Also, your man (Bush) can do no evil, yet Clinton was a bad man, liberals kill thousand every year by allowing abortions, democrats can't think? why do you continue lying to yourself? you're not a conservative democrat. you're a republican, a sheep in wolf's clothing. when you post your opinion here, it's just that. not the truth. to two people in this world see the world exactly the same.
