Upgrading the Blog

I’m in the process of upgrading the blog – at least I hope it’s an upgrade – to Movable Type 3.11. It at the moment the comments aren’t wotking. I’m going to registered commenters. Less comment – better comments – and no comment spam.

Right now it’s moderated for everyone but once I get the user account thing figured out I will allow some people to post without moderation. The upgrade process hasn’t been pretty so be patient.

Marc, I believe that the blog you have WAS a great thing. It ALLOWED people to discuss issues. Sure from time to time some get carried away, but that is human nature, it is called passion. I see that you have begun to EDIT the site, which seems to have now taken it onto the path of the Free Republic. In editing out the side that you do not agree with, it becomes nothing more than a RAH RAH site for people to come gather and agree. There is nothing more brain deadening than a bunch of people who agree on everything. I have had two responses of mine not posted, probably because you do not agree with the stance that I have. I try as hard as I can to keep my response civil, of course when you are responding to people like (:TOM:) it is hard. The guy is venomous, and talks like an idiot. Very pointless inacuracies. And just like when you are talking to a ten year old, you sometimes have to talk like you are talking to a ten year old. The same goes for an idiot, sometimes when you are talking to an idiot, you have to talk like you are talking to one. I have enjoyed visiting your site, and adding to it. But in the environment that my responses are not posted, it leaves the impression that I did not respond.

I have internet businesses along the same lines as you do. They are very lucrative, and dynamic. My passion is making money. Spending less time on these blogs makes sense. It makes even more sense when they are restrictive and disallow inter-action.

I like some of your site ideas, the money making ones. I started one in June that is on pace to make $350,000 every ten weeks. What a vehicle this thing has become.

Take care and good luck.
