Letter to the Editor

Carl Rove is knows as “Bush’s Brain”. Bush’s Brain is retiring at the end of the month. So what’s that supposed to mean for America? Considering Bush does everything wrong are we better off with his brain retired? America is in trouble.

Reader Comments

The fact of the matter is Karl Rove is jumping ship before all of the rats drown. Rove was the Bush Adminstration’s top cheerleader. The fact that he’s going is an obvious sign that the Bush adminstration is in deep trouble. I would not be surprised if there were some major scandal that is going to explode in the months ahead.

Karl Rove’s departure is not just a fact, we should all view it as an omen.

Dammit Marc Perkel, why don’t you have like, fucking 5000 comments?

I’ve been reading upon your website for about 2 hours, and I must say that your way of thinking is IDOLISTIC.

I read your pot rant, your moking rants, your political rants, etc. and you’ve re-ignited a little fire inside myself that was there for a little bit…. Then had fizzled out a few months ago.

But enough of my bullshitting.

To understand where I am coming from with what I have to say… Let me tell you this:

I’m from a very small town in Ohio called MARIETTA.

It’s really dumb, man.

I’m 19 years old now, and I’m just now starting to expand to the outside world.

This city is so disgustingly close minded. It’s so far from society that, whatever is seen as right or wrong in society, reflects through a magnifying glass and burns twice as fierce.

It’s in a small valley called “The Mid Ohio Valley”, and it’s right across a river from Parkersburg, WV. if that tells you anything… :-/

Oh well.

Basically, I’m trying to say that… I would so devote time into being educated in a way to help this vague, small, shallow little town.

But see… It is so bad here… That even if I did try to stand up against anyone here, I would be quickly shunned and seen as a devil by the town.

It sounds pretty weird… But that’s really the way it is.

Marietta isn’t a small town, but it isn’t a big town, either.

It’s big enough to make small people very small, and small enough to make big people unnoticed by bigger people in the outside world.

If you have time, i would like to talk to you about some things.

I need some kind of mentor.

Thanks Mr. Perkel!

Sincerely, Jon Hart
