Letter to the EditorĀ

Now that we have finally gotten rid of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales the last thing we need is a new Attorney General who doesn’t know if the President has to obey the law and doesn’t know if waterboarding is torture. If you are going to be the nations top law enforcement official you have to have a basic understanding of the American legal system. In America no one, including the President, is above the law. We are also a nation who not only doesn’t torture, we know what torture is. Clearly Bush’s new nominee is unqualified to hold this position and should be rejected.

For those of you right wingers out there who disagree ask yourself this question. Suppose president Hillary declared she was above the law. Would you agree with that? I don’t think so.
