Depending on how the race for president goes maybe Clinton and Obama should just flip a coin. The winner gets to run for president. The loser has the option to be the Vice President. I think that either Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton are winning tickets. If the election is so close where there’s a question about who really won then rather than fighting over it we can resolve it by a simple coin flip. No one would question the results.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI think that this would be a good time for Obama to step aside for the good of the Democratic party and and the USA. He has been a very devisive force so far. E.g., the “swift-boating” of the Clintons as racist. Talk about Rovian!
Running “Republican” ads against universal health care is another devisive item that comes to mind.
And the one that hit me smack in the face was Obama praising Reagan and denigrating Clinton.
I switched from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party because of the one-two punch of Reagan destroying the country and Clinton saving it.
