Letter to the Editor

John McCain, addressing the issue of Social Security angered conservatives Sunday saying “I don’t want tax increases. But that doesn’t mean that anything is off the table.” Just a few days before McCain seemed to be warming up to Obama’s timetable of getting out of Iraq in 16 months. At this rate he might eventually figure out that America isn’t going to get off of oil by drilling for more oil.

After 8 years of having a president that gets it wrong we can no longer afford the luxury of having a president who has an adverse relationship with reality. We need someone who is the first to get it right – not the last. John McCain isn’t even changing as fast as Bush is and the last thing America needs is the same old same old all over again.
