Never send a fictional character to do a real man’s job

Letter to the Editor

During the presidential election California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger called Obama a “girly man”, but now the Governator has California stuck in a budget crisis and can’t even communicate with his own Republican party. How pathetic is that? I just hope this doesn’t affect the way I see him in the movies or he’ll have to do more passive roles in the future to be believable.

But the real question is – have the voters of California figured out that you don’t elect a fictional character to do the job of a real person? If we can’t balance the budget then it might be time to punish the voters by taking away the TV set and the movies until we get the job done in the real world.
