What will we do without Governor Palin?

Letter to the Editor

The thing that scares me the most about the resignation of Alaska governor Sarah Palin is – when Putin rears his head and comes into the airspace of the United States, who is going to be keeping an eye on the Russians? How will America survive without Sarah Palin watching the border preventing the Russians from invading?

for the parking issue in SF:

This is interesting and I would like someone to email me back at halfacent@gmail.com.

My questions is that I park my car sideways have my car parallel as close to my house as possible. I allow about 2.5 squares which is about 5-6feet of wide space.

I was issued a $100.00 for parking on the sidewalk which is BS. I’ve heard that we are also responsible for our front of the house. If i sweep it i believe i can park it too. If I get fine for not sweeping in front of my house then why can’t I park there is I do sweep it?

Lastly, it is odd that I can’t even park like that because if you count all the cars in the neighborhood its obvious that there isn’t enough parking space for the residence. What do we do? Ticket it? That is outrage it makes no sense… I figure out a way but its still against the law… and the responsibility to keep the front clean contradicts that ticket!!!

I’m outrage because now i’m uncomfortable with my car in front of my OWN house.

If someone to clear it up to me please because I see some houses that have dipped in drive ways where cars park in front and the back sticks out and my car that is parallel to it doesn’t even extend further out than theirs but they dont get a ticket? Outrage again.

Its obvious that the law isn’t really park of the check and balance system because we are denied our truth based on a law that states it but doesn’t prove that we did that.

I think you should get a lawyer to rewrite the laws of double parking on the sidewalk because it is to vague which allows officers to ticket at will which is i believe unconstitutional to us americans for our own right of space and property.

Huh? You lost me DoggyHouz. Are we not discussing Palin here? Read the blog before you decide to post your parking woes.

Back on subject … we need Palin, to be sure. Who else is going to remind the nation (at least those with a working brain) exactly how rabid and uncontrolled the Right can become when they don’t get their way and, worse, when they’re actually running things. Palin is the new McCarthy. Every time she opens her mouth to spout some ridiculous tag-line, people will recoil in revulsion at the possibility of “her” vision of our country.
