Letter to the Editor

This week was a big week for the Democrats as their health care law began to take effect. Health coverage cannot be arbitrarily canceled if you become sick. Children cannot be denied coverage because of a preexisting condition. Children up to age 26 can stay on their parents’ health plan. Health insurance cannot cannot put a lifetime limit on health care coverage.

Democrats are running on a records of accomplishment while Republicans are running to repeal these benefits. They want to put the insurance company profits ahead of health care for the people. This election season is about the people vs. the corporations and this week the people are winning. Remember that when you vote in November.
