Bush Issues Politically Terrified Alert

The Bush administration today issued another terror alert triggered by the popularity of the Kerry / Edwards ticket. This is yet another fake terror alert providing no useful information.

Homeland security chief Tom Ridge had NO SPECIFIC INFORMATION and had nothing new to say other than be scared of the boggyman. But is any of this real - and does any of this make America safer? No!

First - it's clear that Bush will issue fake terror alerts because we know he lied to us about Iraq and started a war for political purposes. We are actually in more danger of being attacked by Bush than real terrorists.

But - what if this is real? What if this time they aren't faking it? Well - in that case we are in trouble because the Bush administration is totally incompetent and is totally clueless as to how to prevent it. And if there is a terror event that is actually caused by terrorists - our current government isn't going to stop it.

Bush is not pursuing bin Laden. Bush has personally received millions of dollars from the bin Laden family and Bush's family is partners with the bin Laden's in the Carlyle Group. So the real terrorists are getting a pass putting America in danger.

The theme of Ridges speech is about "disrupting elections" and bush is setting the stage for seizing power if he should lose the election again. He's going to try to invalidate the elections based on a terrorist event.

One think I'm really worried about is if Kerry is ahead in October - Bush WILL do something spectacular in order to create some diversion as a plot to sieze power.

So - it's not the terrorists we should be watching but our own unelected war criminal who will do anything to keep his grip on power. Osama bin Laden is to be feared - but the real threat to the electroal process comes from Bush.

Of course - this is also a distraction from the fact that Bush's buddy Kennyboy Lay is being led into court in handcuffs. So Bush needs a terror alert distraction

Oh, I'm scared. Another Chicken Little remark and what, no color terror upgrade thingy? Like they say, once they get away with it once, they'll keep doing. It still amazes me that those who are not in the top 2% income bracket still support these guys...

It's probably subconsciously because of the fear of "letting the terrorists win".

It's official -- the Yakov Smirnoff jokes are no longer funny in America. Thanks, George.

Eek, this isn't the "Republicans Want to Spy on What You Read" section. Oopsie. Too much vodka.

Hey, Marc, how about switching to a forum script, so people could edit their posts and stuff?

Yeah,Yeah tell us something we don't already know. Bush stole the first election, will probably try it again. Hopefully Kerry can buy more powerfull people than Bush can. Although Kerry does not seem like president material, Oh my god what am I saying! Anything is better than that oil monger Bush!!!! GO KERRY!

You know what sucks, _if_ the attack occurs just before the election than Bush gets a free ticket anyhow since no one will want to chance an untested Commander-in-Chief compared to a corrupt one who has had his share of successes amid overall failures that many don't care to look at much. Seems like we're damned either way, whether it be the fear factor getting him re-elected or a terrorist strike.

A friend of mine theorizied that a strike would cause us to rush to an anti-war candidate, which I guess is fairly plausible, given what happened to Spain, despite the differences between the mentalities of our societies. But he also went "a vote Kerry is a vote for Bin Laden". Hm, if he is/was still alive and "free", I'm sure bin laden was jumping for joy when Smirky McDipshit turned his attention towards Iraq, and caused this hot bed of anti-U.S. hatred among more Arabs than before.

It's comforting to know how the election can be staged in various ways - rigging of the electronic voting machines, pulling court strings, etc.

Once upon a time (and not all that long ago) Marc Perkel had blog with 0 (read ZERO) comments. Now he's getting them all the time and each week he gets more than the previous. You stupid, Bush gawkin' punk monkeys have WAY too much time to waste.

"You stupid, Bush gawkin' punk monkeys have WAY too much time to waste" first of all people who are stupid usually say things like 'gawkin'. Everone evolved from monkey's so whats your point, your a monkey too, But the simple fact is bush looks more like a monkey then most ppl in the united states. OK? and your point about zero comments? when is the last time you seen perkel advirtise? its hard to get ppl to come to someone's site when there is no info out there to put you on it.

what i don't understad is, if you republicans hate democrats, liberals, free-thinkers sooooo much, why do you waste your time on sites like this? I don't waste my time on conservative sites. Never been to one. I don't have the need to torture myself. It almost seems like conservatives are addicted to guys like perkel and bartcop... and let the reponses flood in!

Jason, you have WAY too much time on your hand. Fodder. What color is the sky in your world? Plus, I never claimed to be a Democrat. I am affiliated with no political part. I refuse to belong to any group that gets its kicks by putting othe people down (you). I refuse to belong to a party who doesn't have any balls or refuse to help people and instead giving them a crutch (dems/welfare). You, I don't understand. So by being angry and calling people names makes u better? Are you one of those people that think "if you don't think or belive like me, then your'e an idiot"? I very much doubt everyone who posts here is a Democrat. You know, even though I don't agree with Mance, a poster here, his posts have some sense to them and very little hostility.

Of course, well all retort to negative responses, but you, you take the cake. Except for that jack-ass that posted some disturbing stuff a few days ago. And before you start judgin me, I am a proud Mexican who served our country in the Marine Corps. I fought in the Gulf War, 0311. And yes, I have Gulf Syndrome. I also have a high IQ and work in the computer industry. Have been for 10 years now. Now if I would have said all that, minus the mexican part, you might have said "oh, republican". add the mexican part, "oh, weback liberal". No, i was born in this country, first generation, taught by me father to work hard and play harder. Am I angry at you? Did you "get my goat?" No, just sad for you. And no, just because someone responds to you or anyone else here does not mean that you 'got to them'. This is what people do here. respond. and you definitely have that right. so post all you want. but if you're just here to spew negative crap, go somewhere else...

BTW... Scattered brained? That just means we iz free thinkers and not sheep that need to be on the same page to feel like we belong. get some counseling. and jason, have a great day!

"You democrats are so scatter brained and quick to throw something out that it makes for real entertainment to get me through the work day."

And people like you DON'T throw things out quickly?? Basically by dismissing certain points / possibilities as being bullshit right off the bat if they don't conform to your beliefs?

Try this simple example for size: When told the earth wasn't the center of the universe, the church freaked out and imprisoned those who challenged their ideology on that, but, they're blind dismissal of possibilities because of the bias of their beliefs turned out to be wrong.

Denial is the first recourse for us when we don't like what we hear. That doesn't make it wrong or not a possibility.
