9/11 Report Misses Real Problem

Letter to the Editor

The 9/11 report fails to address the real problem that lead to the disaster. The real problem isn't just the CIA and FBI - it's the president. Bush was told and he ignored it. Even after the attack had begun and he was told the second time - he just kept reading a story about a goat. What the American people need is a president who will put down the goat book and deal with a crisis. Bin Laden is still free. So - I'm voting Bush out for the safety of the country.

I think most of us knew that the President will be let off the hook. He has not bee responsible for anything his whole life. Why start now? I think this is a very dangerous time in the history of this planet. I don't belive in Aremegeddon, the bible's revelations, but this come close to it. This pResident is a very dangerous person with not a single care for how he will be seen as in history. He lives for the now and fuck everyone else. I too will be voting bush out: for the saftey of the world

The 9/11 commission was a bi-partisan group that was not just a bunch of republicans. They left blame on both administrations, Clinton and Bush, as they should have. Clinton had several chances to get rid of Bin Laden and he failed. 90% of all the planning and practicing ocurred under Clinton's watch. Yes Bush isn't a great president by any means and has made many bad decisions, but saying that this happened because he was reading a "goat book" is a little far out. He could have done very little even if he had left, all that we could do to stop it was being done, but we just weren't prepared to be attacked like that. I hate to break it to you but I think you should take a break from your hatred of Bush and actually try to think objectively. It makes your life so much easier.
BTW, you aren't the most dangerous mind on the internet, you are just doing what everyone should be doing: exercising their free speach rights regularly.

They also mentioned in regards to the aerial images of "bin ladin" by that UAV that there were NO U.S. military assets in position to react to that information and launch a timely strike if they had even _wanted_ to.

Well,if bush like's goats so much, come 11/2, let's send him back to crawford and he can raise
them, but bab's had better watch. He probably has a few of santoram's box turtle's. Really, what did everyone expect. Bush picked the commission, and told them what to say. I just hope and pray that the U.S.A. get's a crack at him and all the rest of the bunch, after they are out of office.
Call it payback for all the people that died on
9/11, and for all the military personnel that have lost their live's so asswipe could make his buddies richer. Vote this asswipe out of our whitehouse.....

There we go again: Blame Clinton. Clinton's the reason why the dinosaurs are extinct. Clinton could have caught Bin Laden but he was too busy defending himself for having sex in the whitehouse, which the GOP was in charge of the billion dollar witch hunt. Plus, the commission did not blame anyone in particular, not even a single administration. Everyone was to blame, so no ONE person was actually to blame.
