Letter to the Editor
Arnold Schwarzenegger told the Republican convention "I saw tanks in the streets. I saw communism with my own eyes." and that as a child and that he left a "Socialist" country when he moved away in 1968.
The problem is that while what Arnold said was moving - the problem with it, like most Republican speeches, is that it just wasn't true. When Arnold was in Austria, the area of Styria and the neighboring province of Carinthia belonged to the British zone. The Soviets left Styria in July 1945.
Arnold also said: "As a kid, I saw the Socialist country that Austria became after the Soviets left". But when Arnold left in 1968, Austria was run by a conservative government headed by People's Party Chancellor Josef Klaus, a staunch Roman Catholic and a sharp critic of both the Socialists and the Communists ruling in countries across the Iron Curtain.
Arnold is trying to rewrite reality for the purpose of supporting a president who stands for the opposite of everything Arnold believes in. It was clear from the beginning that Arnold didn't want to support Bush but was pressured into it. There's a name Arnold gives people like him who can be pressured into lying. He calls them girly men!
I know he's a republican but I still like the guy. Mark did you know he's an atheist? Yup. And the dems ARE mostly girly men--spineless whimps that can't stand up for themselves. Pussywhipped by their feminazi lesbian girlfriends. Arnold is a guy that won't take shit from anyone--that's a trait the dems could use a lot more of. It would earn them more respect and more "undecided" votes.

He can act like a bad ass all he wants but he just doesn't cut the role in my opinion, i mean if he atleast saved someone outside of hollywood then yeah that would be a hook but no he is a complete douche to me.
Posted by: Joshua Gillogly at September 6, 2004 02:21 PMEasy people, if you look at Arnolds oath ceremony you will find out that he is not even the governor of California Republic.
The oath that the judge prescribed to him, is not even in this "REPUBLIC'S" constitution.
The oath prescribed in the California constitution is at least a quarter as long as the one he repeated and sworned, yes you are right! "HE IS NOT THE LAWFUL GOVERNOR" of the California Republic or California State.
He is the legal governor of the corporate "STATE OF CALIFORNIA".
There is a hint to start doing your research and start questioning your congress man about, whom authorized our government to remove our constitutional country away from we the sovereign.
Now we begin to realize how come we feel like we are not free anymore.
