Is this a Victory? Where is the Outrage?

Letter to the Editor

Sometimes it's easier to tell what isn't a victory than what is a victory. The current government of Afghanistan has a constitution that says anyone converting from Islam to Christianity is to be put to death. That ny friends is NOT a victory. Bush says that he is deeply troubled that Christians can be executed for their faith. I was expecting Bush to be outraged rather than just troubled because after all, he is a Christian, isn't he?

No, their constitution doesn't say that. What it does is gives power to religious leaders to make decisions like that. The religious leaders are making a particular interpretation of Sharia law. That interpretation is not univerally accepted by Muslims. If it were, you'd see this happening in all sorts of countries.

Bush? Christian? Judging by what he's done and I've seen.......Hardly! Ye shall be judged by your deeds not words.....Unless of course he's a Crusader....about 600 years behind the times...

Bush is envolved in deals with the Moonie cult founders who are anti-Christian terrorists (Mr. and Mrs. Moon), so he really must not care at all about the Christians and their faith like he says he does. Bush covers up the crimes the Moons have done because they pay him lots of $. This is not the only sinister cult Bush tries to cover up.
