Did Judge Chuck Weller who was shot have it coming?

Apparently this guy was widely considered to be a crooked judge and had made a lot of enemies. I did a google search and turned up this web page:

Having been through the family court system myself there is a real issue with corrupt judges and how to stop them. In many cases the only way to remove a corrupt judge from the bench is with bullet. I'm not advocationg that, but if you don't look into this judge's history you aren't seeing half of the story. If what all these people are saying about this judge is true it reflects an issue with society that needs to be addressed in order to protect future judges from the same thing.

From what I read here it looks like there were a lot of people who were ready to shoot this judge.

I knew Darren Mack personally, though I havent spoken with him in a few years.. he's a truly incredible individual and this story is boggling my mind. Obviously people can 'crack'.. but I also have to admit to wanting to know the truth about this judge. Darren is no weirdo or dummy. He's an intellectual...

You don't consider a man who stabbed his wife to death while his 8-year-old daughter was upstairs to be a weirdo? Not to mention going out for coffee afterward and then shooting a judge?
Not trusting to anonymous blogs, I actually checked Judge Weller's campaign finance reports. He pretty much self-funded his race, so the blogger (most likely Mack, based on other news stories) is not only an idiot in claiming that campaign contributions from lawyers influenced him, but is also an idiot who relies on lazy readers. Checking the facts is easy. You should try it.
Every family court judge has people who hate him. It goes with angry people. The fact is that a lot of people going through a divorce want to destroy the other party and they get angry when the courts don't help them do it.
Do you think you could ever find a family court judge who a couple of people don't hate?
Try...and post the list.

I have tried to research Weller's background before Reno, but I can find very little. His father's name is Charles E. Weller.

There seems to be a blank from the time he graduated Law School and the time he arrived in Reno, and the media are not filling in the gap.

Here is the only thing I could find that lists Charles E Weller as an attorney in Reno in 1996. Ironically, he was representing someone in a mineral lease appeal.

APPEARANCES: Louis F. Claiborne, Esq., San Francisco, California, for Homestake Mining Company;Charles E. Weller, Esq., Reno, Nevada, for James Wilder; Kenneth R. Williams, Esq., DeputyAttorneyGeneral, Sacramento, California, for the California State Lands Commission

It is amazing that this doesn't happen more often. Until children and fathers are treated as equals in divorce, shootings will continue. No intelligent person wants war but there are times when going to war is the only way to stop evil and misguided people. My prayers go out to the father and his children. I am only sorry that the father was terrorized by the courts who support inequality.
Fathers are now facing the same US court system that supported segregation and abused women before the sufferage movement. Its been a long time coming but it is now time for FATHERS AND CHILDREN TO HAVE EQUAL RIGHTS IN DIVORCE.
