About 15 min's ago I was eating and whatching CNN. The reporter showed this clip of kerry saying that he challenges bush to debate him with a different issue each week. The reporter then asked for a comment from a republican she was talking to. The republican told the news reporter this "I wish john kerry would agree with bush and try to abolish these false 5/27's ad's". Which had nothing to do with the conversation what so ever. And the women doing the reporting said nothing. Proving that bush and his aids have nothing positive to run on and that they can not talk about the real issue's. If they did then this guy would have said somthing along the lines of, "I hope the president decides to do these debates, I hope that they will make these TV live so it will show the american people what the president is running for 4 more years on. And why we should support him." So if any republican tells us that John Kerry keeps bringing up his record then thats false because no republican wants to talk about the issues, just on how to smear John.

what? that kerry should just agree with bush? are you kidding me? that just shows how one-sided the media really is. it just shows that the media is the tool of the gop. if the media really cared about the future of this country and not about viewers or ratings, then they would report of current events, what the candidates have to offer, etc. sinc bush has NOTHING to offer, they just smear kerry. what the fuck has this country come to? most people i know watch fox news and 'reality' shows. stupid ass americans. the majority can't think for themselves and they allow the government and the media to do it for them. if anyone's to blame for that state of this country it's the people. there are too many complacent people in this country. don't care, don't want to know, the tv tells what to think, feel. it feels like i'm living in some kind of twilight zone episode where there are a lot of ignorant people walking around to busy smearing kerry or agreeing with bush instead of focusing on the issues. i support this country. i DON'T support the president. and if you say that the president is the country, then you are a moron. the president is not the country, unless we're living in a dictatorship or a monarchy. WE are the country. WE, the citezens. the politicians are here for US, not the other way around. let's take this country back!!! who's with me???

I am with you Charlie. But, let's take this one step further. I not only want to know what a candidate stands for on the issue. I want the media to report how many times each candidate has done something to further that issue (via votes/bills/vetoes), and how many times each candidate has done something to prevent the furthering of his issue. That would be news.

YES! that's news. News is not what happened over 30 years ago. News is not how much either candidate has in equity. News is NOT opinions about the candidates (o'reilly, fat pig limbaugh, etc.) Taking Truth's idea, that would make and interesting debate. AND, let's let the other candidates debate, also. Let the media report on them. They're also running for president. It's not just two guys. And before someone says they don't have a chance. No. They would have a chance if the media gets there heads out of there asses and report the news...

Ross Perot was allowed in the debate. Of course he was a plant for the establishment, and they needed him to get their outcome. But, if Ron Paul was allowed to debate when he ran as a libertarian he would have done better than Perot. I think that if you are on the ballot, you should be in the debate. But the Republicans, Democrats, and the control that BOTH parties have over the media bar anyone else from partcipating in the WHOLE process.

Charly, I agree with you, you stole the words off my mouth. That is what i hate the most in this elections, why candidates have to defame the other in order to be elected? Why bush is not trying to sell himself? To me it seems like if Bush is trying to tell us that Kerry is worst than him and that is why he have to be elected? But you also told us why things are going this way, it is because of the social desease in USA. People want to see blood, scandals, and hear rumors, rather than watch boring political debates. Is the USA in decadence? Will it fall as other empires have fallen in the past? Remember Egipt, Rome and the Aztec empires that fell after reaching the top? Rome fell when the Romans started to send slaves to fight their wars...

At its apex, the Aztec empire was one of the greatest at the time. Then the greedy Spaniards came over, brought disease with them, which decimated the warriors. A combination of disease and technology cuased the slow descent of the Aztec empire. I'm also Purepeche (Tarascan).

Charlie, for what I studied, the Aztecs made many foes while growing powerful, and after Hernan Cortez was defeted in Aztlan, with the help of La Malinche, he made an "alianza" with all the small tribes who hated or want it to get even with Moctezuma's reign. And that was why Tenochtitlan fell. The disease came just after that. Aztec blood is pumped in my heart too.

hey wilks, sounds like you condone their (swift goats for the truth) actions by using that old cliché. It's very wrong to question a veteran, regardless of that they are using their military record for their campaign. What does Bush have? Economy? nope. Iraq? Not unless body bags is a good thing. Military Service? That's why Kerry is being smeared. Bush does not have a platform. They're campaign is all about smearing the other to distract from the real issues...
