I think this is the ace that Kerry has up his sleave. And I also think he has saved it until after the repug convention.

He can use that ace too... because everybody knows it's always best to be the last in a list of speakers, because people will remember you best this way.

i hope so. he hasn't been instillig confidence in his fellow democrats lately. another way kerry can come out on top: the debates. does anyone really think bush, in a FAIR debate, can overtake kerry? I think not...

hey tom, that's just ONE of many polls taken. So as long as the polls lean towards bush, you agree/believe them? aol. that says it all. it's like fox news having its 'own' official poll. we all know how that one will look...

It just so happens that Kerry is leading in all polls that are followed by a guy named JohnBinJ on the offtopic forum over at hairsite.com. The polls that are tied have Kerry ahead within error margin.

Too bad though that many doubters are leaning towards Bush, instead of towards 'the new guy'. That's how it's supposed to be, ya know. At least, that's what history tells us.

he can vote, and he will vote republican, he just tries to hide himself as a moderate so he doesnt get his ass raped everytime he comes on this site, and i think its funny.

The election is far from decided, despite what some of these polls say. I doubt the validity of polls because it is of just 1,000 people and the data could easily be fabricated or manipulated for show.

As for Kerry's speech, I doubt few heard it last night except on the West Coast given the time it came and how that wasn't probably carried on the major networks. Its nice to see him fight back, but, its being heavily overshadowed by Hurricane Frances, The Russian school shootout and the Clinton heart problem. I have had MSNBC on all afternoon and I have not heard one word about it (though I haven't been paying attention the whole time, either).

He needs to be aggressive for much longer than just one night, he needs his own controversial Anti-Bush ad to get coverage by the TV media for weeks (ideal but fat chance given how Pro-Bush the TV media seems to be).

He needs to stir a shit storm and burst the bubble of the boy in the bubble if he's to have a hope of winning -- and carry that aggressiveness into the debates.

I would be glad to look at any poll. Post the one from the Democratic Underground, I will look at it. But, AOL is hardly Fox News. Unless you guys are going to know tell me that AOL is a conservative ISP. A couple of you kids are mopes. I'll tell you what, the only poll that really matters is the poll taken on election day. I will bet anyone of you, any amount, that on November 3rd Bush will still be the President.

Hey Joshie, you posted last week that when the Kerry daughters were getting boo'd at the MVAs that it was actually the Bush daughters on the mega tron that were getting boo'd. BIG TIME WRONG. Stay off that farm grown hemp. The Kerry daughters got boo'd during their speech, the Bush girls were on after the boofest was over. Just watch the the rerun of it.
