Clinton committed PERJURY by denying that he had a sexual relation. Bush's lies may have gotten 1,000 people killed, but at least he didn't lie under oath.

Of course that's meant to be sarcasm, but I could imagine someone making that argument seriously.

Actually isn't the president sworn under oath to the state of the union? So wouldn't that make him lying, again... I don't know I can't argue this, because I feel he should be tried for crimes of war and impisoned.

M. Willis, I'm not sure. I know that Clinton perjuring himself was the big issue that Republicans had, so there might be some official distinction drawn between what one says when in court and what one says when not in such a situation. Not that *I'm* making that kind of distinction, mind you.

Wills, there is a difference between "lying about sex" and "perjury". Bill Clinton committed perjury. I will be the first conservative to give him a high five for getting the hummer. But be honest, the guy lied under oath.

Do you remember the OJ Simpson trial. Mark Furhman was asked if used the word "n*gger" in the last ten years. His answer was "no". The fact was that Mark Furhman used the word twice in the two years prior to that question being asked. In an interview with a writer who was writing a book about police life. What is my point? Mark Furhman was convicted of committing perjury, his punishment? There was no jail time, but he lost his job, 20 year pension, his right to carry a firearm, and his right to vote. Perjury is a felony, it is a crime against all of us. Please, do not cut anyone any slack on that one. If it had been your mother, sister, wife, or another loved one that was "presumed" to have been sexually harassed you would feel much more offended. No matter what our politics, truth should still be the basic fundamental.

If we could all admit that Clinton lied, and we can all admit that Bush lied, maybe, just maybe, we could all admit that the solution is not to elect a third guy who lied.

So we stay with the current liar and watch this country crumble in the next 4 years. Great logic. I vote for change, hell Kerry might suck it up, but at least I tried to make a difference, instead of offering apathy.

WILLS, you did not try to make a difference, you will vote for another liar. What is the difference. Post on here on November 3rd that you wrote in an ethical candidates name, and then you made a difference. Anything short of that you only tried to replace my liar with yours'. Go ahead and make your difference.

I would like to say that in Mark Furhmans defense he wasn't lying saying that he never addressed anyone using the N word. He was talking to a tape recorder. How could that have been talking to someone. Now he's a convicted felon as we all know, he has lost everything yet Clinton, Bush and all the other people that have willing lied under oath go on about their lives. How fair is this America!!!! Where is the justice for Mark Furhman..... I think you got a raw deal buddy, and a killer walked free... just my 2 cents America Robin..
